Our focus on is modelling of attenuation's effect in the electric field component of electromagnetic waves to different polarizations states. The complex mathematical analysis involves describing field equations and the Plane-Wave Expansion through spherical coordinates with Legendre polynomials. The results illustrate how attenuation significantly impacts the electric signal.<\/em><br \/><em><strong>Palavras-chave: <\/strong>Polarization States; Computational Modelling; Complex Mathematical Analysis; Attenuation Effect; Plane-Wave Expansion<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>Abstract: <\/strong>Este trabalho apresenta uma modelagem computacional baseada em an\u00e1lises param\u00e9tricas que examinam os efeitos de atenua\u00e7\u00e3o em dois estados de polariza\u00e7\u00e3o: ondas polarizadas circularmente\/eliciticamente (CPW e EPW). Nosso foco est\u00e1 na modelagem do efeito de atenua\u00e7\u00e3o na componente de campo el\u00e9trico das ondas eletromagn\u00e9ticas para diferentes estados de polariza\u00e7\u00e3o. A an\u00e1lise matem\u00e1tica complexa envolve a descri\u00e7\u00e3o das equa\u00e7\u00f5es de campo e a Expans\u00e3o de onda plana atrav\u00e9s de coordenadas esf\u00e9ricas com polin\u00f4mios de Legendre.
