Mostramos que para uma dada magnitude da velocidade inicial v0, h\u00e1 uma fam\u00edlia de par\u00e1bolas cujos focos localizam-se sobre uma circunfer\u00eancia de raio proporcional ao quadrado de v0. Mostramos tamb\u00e9m que podemos obter a equa\u00e7\u00e3o da energia associada ao movimento parab\u00f3lico por meio da cinem\u00e1tica.<\/em><br \/><em><strong>Palavras-chave: <\/strong>movimento parab\u00f3lico; cinem\u00e1tica; geometria.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><strong>Abstract: <\/strong>In this brief article we discuss two interesting but forgotten features of the parabolic motion of a projectile near the surface of the Earth, to wit, given the magnitude of the initial velocity v0 of the projectile there is a family of parabolas whose focilie on a circumference of radius proportional to the square of v0.
