Motivados por esta constata\u00e7\u00e3o apresentamos neste estudo as transforma\u00e7\u00f5es de Galileu entre referenciais inerciais e a mec\u00e2nica newtoniana, em particular, a segunda lei de Newton no formalismo tensorial. Desta maneira espera-se oferecer um primeiro contato com os tensores de uma maneira introdut\u00f3ria e conceitual.\r\n<br \/><strong>Palavras-chave:<\/strong> Tensores, Transforma\u00e7\u00f5es de Galileu, F\u00edsica newtoniana.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\"><em><strong>Abstract: <\/strong>Tensors are mathematical objects that permeate much of the description of contemporary physical models and theories. Motivated by this observation, in this study we present Galileo&#8217;s transformations between inertial frames and newtonian mechanics, in particular, Newton&#8217;s second law in tensor formalism.
